Andreea Miron, Stefanini: “We have developed a guideline for leaders to help them manage the hybrid way of working”
“It was relatively easy for us to adapt to the hybrid way of working, considering the company’s field of activity and the services we deliver. We have to make sure that we maintain a connection between our employees, because we care about their mental health,” Andreea Miron, People and Culture Director, Stefanini EMEA said during Workplace of the Future conference organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“We promote and implement the hybrid working model, but we encourage employees to come to the office for connections with colleagues, for interactions with managers. It is important to pay more attention to leaders, to those who coordinate teams, because they need to know how to act in this hybrid model.
The challenge for leaders is to change the management style. At the moment, leaders can have mixed teams, full remote teams and here comes an extra challenge for them. Starting from last year, the leaders of Stefanini started coming to the office and I appreciate that they are setting the trend.
I firmly believe that there is not a single indicator or several indicators that measure the well-being of employees. We must be very attentive to the needs of the employees, listen to them actively and take measures to help them, regardless of whether it is proactivity or reactivity. We constantly invest in well-being actions. We do not force employees to return to the office, we give them the freedom to choose where they prefer to work. We have developed a guideline for leaders to help them manage the hybrid way of working.”
