Stefan Tudos, Genesis Property: “We have to constantly anticipate the needs and wishes of our tenants”
“Discussions with our tenants, multinational companies, revealed the fact that the management teams of these companies want employees to return to the office in a hybrid model that allows flexibility for employees.
We noticed that the return to the office is slower in Romania than in other European countries and regions. Offices are becoming more important than in the past, they become elements of attracting employees and respond to the needs of employees in terms of extra-professional activity outside of working hours,” Stefan Tudos, vicepresident Genesis Property said during Workplace of the Future conference organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“We are implementing the YUNITY concept within the Novo Park project. It’s a concept we’ve been working on for 8 years. We develop the outdoor areas and transform them into multifunctional spaces.
We have to constantly anticipate the needs and wishes of the tenants and we have to offer them solutions that maybe they haven’t even thought of.
We invest a lot in the development of green spaces for our office projects. Our buildings are still performing from an architectural point of view, even if they are 10-15 years old. A new building has a bigger carbon footprint than our buildings, because of all the construction materials that have to be used. From this point of view, for a company that is interested in reducing emissions and achieving certain sustainability indicators, it is much more efficient to enter an existing building that is rehabilitated and that is equipped with the latest generation equipment. This is an advantage of our buildings, something recognized even by the multinational companies with which we collaborate and for which ESG is a top priority.”
