Adrian CÂCIU, Minister of Investments and European Projects, confirmed the participation in the BANKING FORUM organized by Financial Intelligence. Financial Intelligence organizes the fourth edition of the BANKING FORUM event, tomorrow, October 17, 2023, from 10:30 a.m., at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel.

“In an environment marked by ample uncertainty, it is important that interest rates remain where they are for longer (higher for longer), as almost everywhere in the world, in order not to risk a rekindling of inflation,” Cristian Popa , Member of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Romania said.
“We have to be convinced that inflation is approaching the target before we cut interest rates. Otherwise, the premature relaxation of monetary policy could be dangerous, as I will show in a future post: most inflationary episodes in the world have recurred because there were premature interest rate cuts”, Cristian Popa recently sent.
