Lab for students of the Faculty of Transport, the newest investment of Grup Feroviar Român, the only railway company partner in the project “Politehnica Bucuresti Campus Dual”
Grup Feroviar Român, part of the GRAMPET Group, is the only railway company partner in the project “Dual Campus Politehnica Bucharest”, initiated by the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest (UNSTPB) and financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Together with the 14 partners of the project, local authorities, educational institutions and companies, GFR supports the creation of an integrated professional campus dedicated to young people who want to follow an educational path as relevant as possible for the labor market, which is constantly changing.
Based on the partnership, GFR and UNSTPB will inaugurate, on Tuesday, October 24, the GFR Laboratory within the Faculty of Transport, following an investment for facilitating students’ access to study programs and high-performance software solutions necessary to deepen knowledge related to the railway industry in Romania.
“The partnership with UNSTPB and the GFR Laboratory are the latest initiatives of the GRAMPET Group that demonstrate our commitment to the future of the rail industry and, more importantly, to young people who want a career in transport. We are determined to stimulate interest in this challenging field and the new GFR lab will give students access to the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in the job market. At the same time, we know that the “Campus Dual Politehnica Bucharest” project will have a real positive impact in the academic environment, but also for the railway industry in our country, and we are honored to be part of this program that allows qualified operators to intervene as trainers in study programs adapted to the trends and needs of the labor market”, said Gruia Stoica, president of GRAMPET Group.
