Hybrid work solutions leader IWG to expand with 1,000 new locations in 2024
IWG, the world’s largest provider of hybrid work solutions, aims to open 1,000 new locations globally amid significant growth in demand from companies and employees seeking hybrid work spaces.
During 2023, IWG nearly doubled the number of newly added spaces compared to the previous year, expanding the network with 867 new locations. In Romania, the company inaugurated an ultra-modern flexible workspace in City Gate Bucharest, amid increased demand for hybrid work solutions.
The Regus City Gate, in the 2nd district of Bucharest, is providing the workforce of Romania with another upscale workplace.
The workspace – powered by renewable energy – offers 30 private offices, two meeting rooms, and ample co-working spaces, including large parking spaces, fast chargers for electrical cars, and bike and motorcycle storage.
A recent IWG survey of CEOs shows that more than 75 percent of them expect to still be operating in a hybrid model five years from now. This is also confirmed by new research from Stanford University and other leading institutions, which indicates that hybrid work is a phenomenon that will continue for years to come. Another IWG survey also found that 88 percent of employees consider hybrid work to be the top benefit they would expect in a new role.
Ramona Predescu (Iacob), IWG Country Manager for Romania & Bulgaria commented, “Romania is a fast-growing, dynamic market and we’re seeing high demand for hybrid working solutions amongst businesses of all sizes. As a result, we are very pleased to provide our cutting-edge and professional workspaces, such as Regus Bucharest City Gate, to the working community of Romania.”
