A new Board of Directors Council for Professional Women’s Network Romania
On April 10, the members of Professional Women’s Network Romania met in a General and Elective Meeting with the aim of approving the results of the activity for 2023, validating the plans for 2024, but also choosing a new management team the association.
Thus, after two years marked by special achievements and success in the implementation of new and impactful projects, the members of the association gave a vote of confidence to a new Board of Directors.
Starting with this mandate, the provisions of the Statute amended last year enter into force, establishing a new structure of the Board of Directors by expanding the number of pillars from 9 to 11 with two new positions of Vice President, respectively the Museum of Remarkable Women and International Relations that will contribute to the completion and launch of the soul project of the association and continues the development of the association including internationally.
Therefore, the composition of the management team of PWN Romania is: Ileana Botez – President, Monica Eugeniu – Vice President Members, Violeta Ciurel – Vice President Women in Boards of Directors, Georgiana Cristea – Vice President Entrepreneurship, Soriana Popescu – Vice President Mentoring, Carmen Ciulian – Vice President Women’s Museum Remarkable, Alina Stoian – Vice President of International Relations, Carmen Burtea – Vice President of Partnerships, Mioara Popescu – Vice President of Finance, Anca Bogos – Vice President of Marketing and Communication and Adina Guțiu – Vice President of Legal.

The new team of the PWN Romania Board of Directors embarks enthusiastically on this mandate, with bold plans for the growth of the association and for achieving its mission of supporting gender balance in leadership positions, by promoting women in leadership positions.
About Professional Women’s Network Romania
PWN Romania is a non-governmental, non-profit, volunteer-based association whose mission is to support the ascent of women in leadership positions in order to accelerate gender balance in management structures. The PWN Romania community brings together approximately 400 members in management or entrepreneurial positions in over 20 industries, as well as over 900 women in the extended community of the Association. Among the objectives of PWN Romania are the development of the professional potential of women, the support of female entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs and the economic empowerment of women, equal opportunities and diversity in the management structures of companies.
