Lucian Enaru, Schneider Electric: “We must expand distribution networks, increase the resilience, and pay attention to energy efficiency”
“In Romania we talk too much about strategies, everyone expects a perfect strategy, everyone expects public policies to be in place. There is no such thing as a perfect strategy. The strategy will adapt and evolve all the time. If the execution of the strategy does not work, we will look at the surrounding countries and see how they implement projects much faster than we do in Romania,” Lucian Enaru, Country General Manager, Schneider Electric said during Energy CEO Forum organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“The speed of implementation is an essential criterion in the development of a project. We Romanians must be consistent in implementing projects. Energy automation is essential.
The first criterion in the projects we run with our partners is the implementation time. He asks us when we finish the project.
Schneider Electric is currently involved, both at the European level and locally, in the effort to change these habits in design and feasibility studies, because we can gain time for the implementation of projects. If we don’t anticipate, if we fail to anticipate, we not only waste time, but we also waste more time.
We must expand the distribution networks, but we must also take care of the existing networks, increase resilience, and pay attention to energy efficiency. We need to reduce energy losses, which are very high at the moment.”
