The international management consulting company, Horváth, ended the fiscal year 2023-2024 with a 13% increase in sales, reaching a record amount of 306 million euros. With over 40 years of global experience, Horváth has announced the selection of a new partner from Romania, Maria Boldor, among the approximately 70 partners of the group active in Europe, the USA, the Middle East and other markets.
The results of the Stuttgart-headquartered group were announced at the end of the German fiscal year (April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024) and follow another year with consistent growth of 23%, despite the economic climate marked by numerous challenges in recent years. Last year’s record turnover was achieved, in particular, in the markets of Western and Eastern Europe, the USA and the United Arab Emirates, on the back of increased transformation and digitization projects.
“The fact that we have grown at group level in the last two years, well above the industry average, is due not only to the exceptional commitment of our highly motivated teams every day, but also to our highly sought after market experience in business transformation and our excellent implementation skills. Our growth is also driven by our increasingly international business,” summed up last year’s success Helmut Ahr, CEO Horváth.
“The massive pressure for change across all industries and the associated need to transform our customers’ business models is greater than ever – and will continue,” added Ahr, as the Horváth Group Board of Directors anticipates double-digit growth and for fiscal year 2024-2025. To support the forecasted growth, the Horváth Group has chosen five new partners from among its extensive international team, which stand out for their expertise in digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI), including Maria Boldor, who has 17 years of experience in within the Romanian team.
Specialized in strategic organizational and operational business transformation projects, many of which are regional and international, as well as digital transformation projects, for example through SAP S/4HANA, Maria Boldor is the second chosen partner from Romania, after Kurt Weber, who leads Horváth’s team from Bucharest, from 2025.
“I am excited to contribute to our group strategic initiatives with my international mindset, empathetic leadership and regional perspective. I believe in the business potential and development opportunities on the Romanian market and in the CEE region. I aim to increase the number of satisfied customers who choose Horváth as a trusted partner for their transformation initiatives. And last but not least, I want to inspire more and more women as well as young talents to succeed in consulting”, said Maria Boldor, Partner, Horváth.
