Alexandrion Group celebrated 18 years since the launch of Brâncoveanu Vinars brand
Alexandrion Group, the largest producer and distributor of spirits in Romania, part of the Nawaf Salameh Family Office, marked the 18th anniversary of the Brâncoveanu Vinars brand, one of the longest-standing brands in the group’s portfolio, with a large-scale event organized at Bragadiru Palace. During the event, the new Global Brand Ambassador, soprano Irina Baianț, was announced.
Dr. Nawaf Salameh, Founding President of Nawaf Salameh Family Office emphasized: “18 years after its launch, Brâncoveanu Vinars has been a leader in its category for many years, has been awarded in all the major international competitions and is appreciated by consumers in over 50 countries. How did we get to where we are now? With respect for the vinars making tradition, which we preserve and cherish, honoring the memory and legacy of Voivode Constantin Brâncoveanu who inspired the story of the brand; with investment in state-of-the-art technology and innovative bottle and label design that has evolved over the years; with absolute commitment to quality and the utmost care for our consumers’ health; and last, but not least, with passion and love for what we do. And, of course, under the guidance of Master Distiller Jean-François Joumier, who has been with us for more than 20 years.”
Irina Baianț, Global Brand Ambassador Brâncoveanu Vinars, expressed her appreciation for the brand and her commitment to the new role: “Thank you for this welcome in the beautiful family of Alexandrion Group, for this honorable invitation to take on a role that I perform for Romania the best I can. I would like to share with you a few things about what value and honor mean to me and the fact that people or spirits do not meet or attract each other by chance. Along with the people who have touched my heart throughout my life I have learned that responsibilities are a goal and I enjoy carrying them, they honor me and give me meaning and joy. This role, that I am talking on as of today I want to be about honor, culture, the joy of giving and about grace. After all, it is only through family, love, o togetherness and especially through kind people that we can pass on grace, culture and love, to other people. “
After the speeches, the guests enjoyed an opera concert, performed by the internationally acclaimed artists: soprano Irina Baianț, tenor Adrian Nour, violinist Alexandru Tomescu and flutist Cătălin Oprițoiu, who performed masterpieces by famous composers, such as “The Barber of Seville”, “Habanera”, The Four Seasons”, “Ballad” of Ciprian Porumbescu, accompanied by the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Grigore Costin.
