Elena Mandache, Eldrive Romania: “We want to become the leaders of the Romanian EV charging market”
“Our charging network for electric cars has operations in Bulgaria, Lithuania and Romania. We are expanding very quickly. We are the largest network of charging stations in Eastern Europe and we want to be leaders on the Romanian market.
We have to believe in electric mobility. Our charging network can service all electric vehicles existing now on the local market, as well as the electric cars that are expected in Romania next year. Our charging hubs are ready for fleets,” Elena Mandache, Marketing Manager, Eldrive Romania said during Green Mobility Forum organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest and Automotive Today.
“We developed a network from the idea that it must serve the future, not the present. We are a reliable partner for companies that want to make the transition to electric mobility.
There are very active communities of electric car owners in Romania from which I had many things to learn.
Together with Prime Batteries and Allspark Energy, we developed a product that combines energy storage with charging electric cars. This modular Power Cube with a power of 150 kW can simultaneously charge two electric cars.”
PRIME Batteries Technology, Eldrive Romania and ALLSPARK Energy presented recently a solution for storing energy and charging electric cars. The “energy cube” can power electric cars with energy from the grid or from photovoltaic panels, being ideal for areas where the grid needs improvement.
The cube can capture and store power from the grid, with low and constant consumption, to protect electrical systems in the area. When an electric car comes to charge, it can benefit from high load power – up to 150 kW – without affecting the electrical grid.
