PPC Group’s supply companies in Romania have merged (P)
On December 31, 2024, the supply companies PPC Energie and PPC Energie Muntenia, part of the PPC Group in Romania, merged. The unification of the supply companies into a single legal entity marks a strategic step to optimize the electricity and natural gas supply activity, reduce administrative complexity and improve the customer experience.
PPC Energie will continue to provide its customers with value-added supply services, with a focus on accessibility and personalized support.
As a result of the merger, the supply contracts and invoices of PPC Energie Muntenia’s customers will continue to be managed by PPC Energie, without any other changes. All rights and obligations under the current contract remain the same. At the same time, the products and services that customers currently benefit from will continue to be provided, according to the contractual conditions or legal provisions in force.
PPC Energie customers will continue to have access to the same essential services and functionalities through the online platform www.PPCEnergy.ro, the web application myppc.ppcenergy.ro and the myPPC mobile application, available for free in the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. myPPC allows personal account management, bill payment and index registration. Here too, customers can access competitive offers for electricity and natural gas, as well as advanced energy solutions, including photovoltaic systems and energy-efficient equipment.
As before, payments will be able to be made online, by direct debit or bank transfer or from the myPPC app.
For customers who prefer to pay in cash, there are self-pay payment machines located in PPC Energie stores in Bucharest and ten counties (Arad, Caraș-Severin, Călărași, Constanța, Giurgiu, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Ilfov, Timiș and Tulcea), as well as in the Profi, Auchan, Mega Image, Carrefour, Kaufland store chains and in other grocery stores.
In order to accommodate customers who wish to be able to pay their bills directly in PPC Energie stores, a POS payment solution has been implemented in most of them. For assistance, customers can contact the PPC Energie team at the telephone number 021.9977, callable from Romania and abroad, from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 20:00, except for public holidays. Information about invoices, balances or contracts can also be requested at this number, and customers can activate services such as electronic invoices.
