Genesis Property appoints Flavia Schoech as Chief Operating Officer
Genesis Property, one of the leading office building owners in Romania, announces the appointment of Flavia Schoech as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Flavia Schoech previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Continental Hotels, where she served for over 12 years and made a significant contribution to the expansion and consolidation of the company’s operations in Romania.
At Genesis Property, Flavia Schoech’s mission is to lead the development and alignment of the operational strategy, focusing on accelerating business growth objectives, efficiency, and the integration of ESG principles. Her role involves translating the strategic vision into concrete, effective, and sustainable long-term actions, as well as coordinating operational activities, processes, and resources necessary to achieve the company’s organizational goals.
“When you start a new puzzle, you feel the curiosity to find the most fitting piece, the eagerness to discover it, and the determination to complete the puzzle. Taking on a new role at Genesis Property is similar to a 3D puzzle built vertically, where you need to figure out how the pieces fit together and which of them represent you. Integrating into the entrepreneurial vision I found at Genesis Property makes me want to be one of the missing pieces of the puzzle. I am extremely confident that our mission to become the most creative in an industry often considered rigid can bring great professional satisfaction, alongside significant effort to navigate the unknown. However, we look to the future with confidence, especially since there are no limits to innovation. And for me, the future is always fascinating,” said Flavia Schoech, COO, Genesis Property.
The company’s main long-term goal is the completion of the final phase of YUNITY Park, a project developed by Genesis Property, founded by entrepreneur Liviu Tudor. The campus features an open-air amphitheater with 1,500 seats, 2 kilometers of pedestrian pathways, cascading water mirrors, an urban forest, and creative meeting spaces. The second phase of the project, completed in 2023, benefited from an investment of over 20 million euros.
