evomag: Sales to companies rose to 7.5 million euros in 2024, with an average order value of 5,500 lei

evomag’s sales to companies rose to 7.5 million euros in 2024, equivalent to 15 percent of the company’s total sales. At the same time, the average value of an order in the corporate segment increased to 5,500 lei, reflecting an increased interest of companies in state-of-the-art equipment and extended service packages.
The increase in sales to the corporate segment occurred in the context in which, in 2024, digitalization remained a priority direction for companies in Romania, stimulated by access to European funds, the need for automation and operational efficiency. Thus, evomag noted an increased demand for laptops, monitors, mobile phones, printing equipment, projectors and interactive whiteboards.
“We observe a growing concern of companies for predictability and efficiency. Investments in IT infrastructure are no longer perceived as a cost, but as a necessity to support business growth. In this sense, we aim to expand the range of services, so as to offer customers complete solutions, from equipment to technical support, configurations and maintenance. Services are becoming an essential factor in purchasing decisions, and we are adapting to this growing demand”, says Mihai Pătrașcu, CEO of evomag.
The consumption behavior of companies is different from that of individuals, also in terms of the desire to keep products in good condition, for longer use. Thus, it is common for them to purchase, in addition to the products themselves, extended warranties or insurance for them, while accessing pre- and post-sales consulting services.
evomag estimates that, by the end of 2025, 10 percent of corporate sales will be generated by additional services. Extended warranties, insurance, assembly and configuration services for IT equipment are becoming an important factor in companies’ purchasing decision-making process.
In 2025, the company will continue to strengthen its corporate sales department, increasing the team of experienced professionals, able to provide advice and support to customers, from 7 to 10 specialists, and address larger customers with more complex needs in the electro-IT area. The expansion of the team will contribute to a better adaptation of service offerings to the specific needs of each company.
