Symmetrica to complete 50-million-euro factory near Bucharest this summer

Symmetrica, the leader of the local market for vibro-pressed pavers and curbs and the largest domestic manufacturer, has entered a straight line with the completion of its new factory in Bolintin Vale (Giurgiu County), the largest concrete paving and slab production unit in the company’s network. Developed through an investment of almost 50 million euros, the factory currently has three of its four production lines functional and will become fully operational this summer.
After the completion of the works and the installation of the fourth line, the new factory, which covers an area of 18,000 sqm, will reach a daily capacity of 15,000 sqm, marking a 30 percent increase in the company’s total production.
“The Bolintin Vale factory project involved the integration of state-of-the-art, highly performing equipment to support both efficiency and the development of our premium product range. We are now in the final stage of this process, the first three lines have been put into operation, and after the installation of the fourth, scheduled for summer this year, the production unit will become fully functional, contributing to the development and consolidation of Symmetrica’s position on the local and regional market,” said Sebastian Bobu, Executive Director of Symmetrica.
“Despite the challenges in the residential sector, we observe a clear trend towards higher quality products, with consumers becoming increasingly attentive to sustainability, aesthetics and innovation. This consumption behavior provides us with solid premises for the development of the premium range, and our estimates remain positive regarding the demand for the Symmetrica Select collections. We believe that this orientation towards premium solutions will continue to consolidate, even in a more challenging economic context,” added Bobu.
Last year, the company reported a turnover of 317 million lei (63.7 million euros), marking a 22 percent increase compared to 2023.
