ING Bank and UniCredit Bank finance the expansion of DIGI Group’s fibre optic infrastructure in Europe with 200 million euros

ING Bank and Unicredit Bank have successfuly finalized, as joint coordinators and lead managers, a significant syndicalised transaction aimed at financing the telecommunication infrastructure. The 200 million euros worth financing, granted for a period of 5 years, will support the development of DIGI Group’s fibre optic networks in Europe.
DIGI Group intends to use the funds for their investment plans in the expansion and modernization of their own network infrastructure, mainly from Spain, Portugal and Belgium. The company’s strategy aims to increase competitiveness by streamlining costs and developing its own infrastructure, with a focus on CAPEX components.
