Synotech and Eurosic win Schneider Electric Sustainability Impact Award 2024 in Romania (P)

Schneider Electric announced the winners of the Sustainability Impact Awards 2024 in Romania. The two award-winning companies, Schneider Electric partners, Synotech Global Services and Eurosic, were recognized for their outstanding commitment to sustainability and innovation in the technological field.
The awards are part of Schneider Electric’s initiative to support partners, customers and suppliers in achieving sustainability goals, in a context in which pressure from shareholders, customers, employees and the new generation is constantly increasing.
Schneider Electric supports sustainable practices through initiatives aimed at transferring knowledge and developing the expertise necessary to implement sustainability strategies. These include digital tools for assessing and optimizing operations, streamlining projects throughout the product life cycle, and technological and ESG solutions to accelerate the decarbonization of the entire value chain.
“We are honored to be recognized for our work towards green and responsible practices, and this success reflects our commitment, as a leader in Data Center solutions, to protecting the environment and for a greener future. The award is not only a validation of our efforts so far, but also a strong motivation to continue inspiring positive changes, actively contributing to building a greener and more balanced future for future generations. We are aware that the expectations for companies to reduce their carbon footprint are constantly increasing as we approach 2050. We wanted to be proactive and contribute to this journey towards net zero, and this recognition encourages us to continue,” says Walter Cor Hagigalinis, CEO at Synotech.
In a global context marked by climate change and the depletion of natural resources, companies have a crucial role in achieving sustainable development goals, both by reducing their own carbon emissions and by positively influencing their value chain. Active involvement in sustainability initiatives not only responds to legislative requirements and societal expectations, but also contributes to increasing competitiveness, resilience and reputation in the long term.
“We thank Schneider Electric for the award and for their constant support on our path to sustainability. Our collaboration has meant, among other things, the use of the Power Monitoring Expert software, which helps us monitor and manage electricity consumption, the installation of charging stations for electric cars, which take into account the availability of energy from photovoltaic panels, as well as the implementation of the Zeigo software, with which we calculate our carbon footprint for Scope 1 and 2, and soon for Scope 3. In addition, for a wide range of Schneider Electric products, both the CO2 footprint and the product environmental profile are available online. All these solutions contribute significantly to achieving our sustainability goals,” says Marian Stoicescu, CEO Eurosic.
“Congratulations to Synotech and Eurosic for their outstanding effort in translating sustainability ambitions into concrete actions. It is essential that organizations look beyond their own operations and understand the impact they have on their entire ecosystem. Achieving climate neutrality is a collective goal, and to achieve it, we must collaborate, share sustainable best practices and support our customers and partners in the decarbonization process,” says Lucian Enaru, General Manager Schneider Electric Romania, Republic of Moldova and Armenia.
The Schneider Electric Sustainability Impact Awards were launched in 2022 to celebrate and recognize the essential role of the company’s extensive network of partners in building a more resilient and sustainable electric world. Now in its second edition, the program closely evaluates how partner companies use digital, automation and energy efficiency solutions, reduce energy consumption, improve their operational efficiency and adopt circularity principles across the entire value chain.
