Romanian Digitalization Authority: 10 new types of payments in the Ghiseul.ro platform in Q3
The Romanian Digitalization Authority published the Digitalization Report for the third quarter (Q3) of 2021. During this period, ADR continued to accelerate the digital transformation of public administration.
“The Q3 2021 Digitalization Report marks the first decade of online interaction between citizens and the state. We celebrated, together with the partners from APERO, 10 years since the launch of the Ghișeul.ro platform, the most successful digital deliverable of the public administration in Romania. The event was all the more important in terms of recent usage data: Ghișeul.ro has increased in the last 9 months as well as in the first 9 years. Until October 1, 2.1 million transactions were registered on the platform and almost 200 million euros were collected,” said Octavian Oprea, president of ADR.
ADR has already registered concrete results, as a result of the steps taken in recent months in the direction of Public Policy adopted by the Executive, for the implementation of e-government solutions at the level of public administration in Romania. In the third quarter of 2021, the Romanian Digitalization Authority:
• added 10 new types of payments in the Ghișeul.ro platform, enrolling the first university (Academy of Economic Studies), the first library (“Carol I” Central University Library Bucharest) and the first utility provider (Apa Nova Company);
