SEGULA Romania plans to recruit 300 engineers in 2022
Global engineering group SEGULA Technologies announces the appointment of Catalin Ursache as General Manager of SEGULA Romania.
Catalin Ursache has a degree in Systems and Computer Science from the Transilvania University of Brasov and a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the same institution. He started his career as a software developer. He then held the positions of Business Unit Manager and Global Key Account Manager at SIEMENS, before joining Atos Romania as General Manager and Country Manager.
Catalin Ursache will ensure the consolidated management of all SEGULA group activities in Romania seconded by Mihai Pavel, general manager of automotive engineering activities, and Dragos Barascu, general manager of tool manufacturing activities and assembly of robotic lines.
SEGULA Technologies has been operating in Romania for almost 20 years, supporting its customers in the automotive, aerospace, railway and naval sectors. After several years of strong growth, the group now has 750 employees in five locations: in Bucharest, where the administrative headquarters are located, concentrating a large part of the staff; around Pitesti, with 3 locations: a design office, a rolling workshop in Ștefănești and a tool factory in Mioveni; in Brașov, with a design office.
SEGULA Romania plans to recruit 300 engineers in 2022 and up to 500 per year over the next three years. The profiles sought include vehicle and engine project managers, vehicle architects, architects and software designers, thermal, acoustic and aerodynamic simulation specialists, and data management specialists.
