Marius Porojan, Green PC Ambalaje: “We work constantly on reducing our carbon footprint”
“A sustainable business environment requires a partnership between all sectors of society, from the state to the private sector, associations, NGOs, and citizens. Only through these strategic partnerships can we create a common responsibility in an increasingly complex world.
We collaborate with a lot of companies on the management and waste management side. Our specialty is waste management services. We have developed enormously in the first 3 years of activity, and we have become a leader in the market segment in which we operate,” Marius Porojan, Commercial Director, Green PC Ambalaje said during Sustainability Forum 2022 organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“We are aware of the importance of strategic partnerships. We want to offer complete integrated waste management solutions from direct sorting from source to storage, preparation for collection and transport of this waste culminating in recycling and recovery solutions at the highest standards, while efficient in terms of economically.
It is very important to respect the hierarchy of waste recovery. Recycling and recovery of waste are done in accordance with national and European legislation. I believe that only together can we achieve these goals of sustainability.
We support our customers and suppliers through personalized waste management services, but we are also plastic and cardboard recyclers.
An essential component of Green PC Ambalaje’s sustainable development strategy is the constant efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of collection, recycling and production activities.
It is very important for us to make energy efficient investments, such as electric waste collection machines, solar energy, biogas charging, etc. We are very careful in choosing the partners that reach the waste we collect. We always make sure that our partners’ sustainability policies are aligned with Green PC Ambalaje’s values and ideals. We have 2,500 customers and we manage over 10,000 tons of waste per month.”
