Start-Up Nation program is launched, at its third edition
On Tuesday, July 19, the program of this year’s Start-Up Nation opens. The registration platform will be available starting 10 am, according to those announced by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism.
During the registration stage for the two pillars, respectively Start-Up Nation Romania and Start-Up Nation Diaspora, the applicants, with the profile, user and password generated, will fill in, sign electronically, upload and send the electronic registration form. The electronic application will be open for 30 working days, until September 1, at 20:00 on the last day of registration, with the possibility of extending the deadline until the budget is exhausted.
This year’s edition of Start-Up Nation has as objectives: stimulating the establishment and development of SMEs; improving their economic performance; sustainable development; smart economic recovery sustainable and inclusive digitization; innovation and entrepreneurial training; new jobs.
The beneficiaries are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises set up after 1 January 2020. In the case of Start-Up Nation Diaspora, applicants they will prove their domicile or residence abroad in the last 12 months until the moment of registration. In this sense, the documents attesting the quality of resident in the last 12 months until the registration are residence permit / proof of establishment, residence visa / long stay, residence certificate.
Eligible expenses
Expenditures that are eligible under these projects include the purchase of * technological equipment; * specific equipment installation systems in order to achieve energy savings and 100 electric vehicles; * work spaces production spaces and spaces for services and trade; * means of transport; * furniture, office equipment and systems for the protection of human and material values. In addition, the costs of salaries, utilities, intangible assets related to patents, franchises, eco-labeling, entrepreneurial skills development courses, consultancy, financial expenses related to loans or guarantees obtained for loans contracted by beneficiaries in order to carry out business plans are also eligible. businesses accepted under the program for applicants who use credit to implement the project.
