The Smart Energy Association launched the Clean Energy Resilience Pact in Romania
Romania records an energy loss to operators and consumers of approximately 50 percent of the entire production, and a large part of these losses is represented by inefficient buildings from an energy point of view, said Dumitru Chisalita, President of the Smart Energy Association, at the launch of the Pact for Resilience of Clean Energy in Romania.
The president of AEI explained that the reduction of consumption should not be applied through restrictive measures, but through efficiency: “I do not reduce by stopping the industry. That is not reduction, that is suicide. I do the reduction on the basis of efficiency, that is, to obtain the same product with a smaller amount of energy. That means efficiency”.
The Intelligent Energy Association launched on Tuesday the Pact for Clean Energy Resilience in Romania, a program that aims to carry out an analysis, information and awareness campaign on the need to reduce energy consumption and open up to clean energy sources, which can lead to overcoming crisis situations. Also, all these things are essential for a balanced energy transition, through the four major axes: energy efficiency, clean energy, sustainable transport and prevention of the energy crisis.
