LadyPRENOR- a best practice club for supporting female entrepreneurship
<LadyPRENOR> is a unique concept in the Romanian business environment, intended to support female entrepreneurship, launched, in Constanța, by the National Patronage of Business Women in SMEs (PNAFIMM), a member of CNIPMMR, together with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Agriculture Constanța (CCINA) and the Business Opportunities Association for Women (ASOAF-BOW) – Constanța branch.
The purpose of this partnership is the promotion and mutual support of female entrepreneurship. The three powerful organizations have laid the foundations of a new concept, a club of best practices, where young female entrepreneurs have the chance to learn the steps to follow to excel in business.
Elena Coanda, President of PNAFIMM, said: “We launched this partnership to support female entrepreneurship because concrete actions, common objectives and mentoring are needed to succeed in business. What we aim to do is to give courage to young female entrepreneurs to go through the stages of knowledge in the business world, to offer the chance to have access to sources of financing for the growth and development of businesses and, finally, to increase the importance of female entrepreneurship, through the development of projects for the business environment and through a continuous dialogue with local and central authorities”.
The experience in managing a business and the model of good practices are behind the women who laid the foundations and coordinate the activity of PNAIMM and ASOAF, Contanța – the signatories of the partnership for female entrepreneurship.
The partnership for female entrepreneurship has the support of CCINA, and Raluca Serescu, the General Director of the institution, explained: “We realized that we can do things together! We support this approach because we want to increase the community of women who develop successful businesses, we want to promote female entrepreneurship and best practice models and contribute to the achievement of common goals, especially in the sphere of business administration”.
“The idea is to strengthen the position of female entrepreneurship. No matter how strong a voice is, it does not cover a chorus, and our interests are common, to become an important chorus in the local and national economy. It is an open partnership, and we trust that these collaborations will help us to grow the community”, said Mihaela Belcin, President of ASOAF Constanța.
The women entrepreneurs who managed to overcome the socio-economic obstacles of the last period, shared their experience, and believe that only together they can support gender equality in business and campaign for the recognition of the role and importance of women in business.
“LadyPrenor is a new concept, meant to support the female entrepreneur, initiated as a first step, in Constanța, but which will develop at the national level, so that we have the opportunity to share the best practice models with the ladies who develop businesses in their communities. I believe in supporting, promoting and developing female entrepreneurship, as a necessary stage for the construction of a modern Romania”, concluded Elena Coanda, President of PNAIMM.
