Electrica Furnizare to install photovoltaic panels for Transavia
Electrica Furnizare strengthens its position in the market of energy services and solutions by starting a new partnership in the field of green energy with Transavia, the local leader of the chicken meat market. In the first phase of the partnership, 6,480 photovoltaic modules will be installed in 10 Transavia locations in the Brasov area.

The installation of the 6,480 photovoltaic modules of 540Wp will be done both on the ground and on the roof of the buildings in the Transavia workplaces, the total installed power being 3.5 MWp.
“Part of the largest investment in green energy in the Romanian food sector, which our company initiated this year, the partnership with Electrica Furnizare will contribute significantly to achieving our energy efficiency objective through which Transavia aims to ensure almost fully, until the end of 2023, the energy requirement. This project, carried out together with Electrica Furnizare, is part of the sustainability strategy, from grain to fork, through which Transavia is committed to protecting resources for future generations, acting responsibly towards people, animals, communities and the environment,” said Ovidiu Oprita, Deputy General Manager, Transavia.
The partnership between the two companies will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 962.8 tons per year.
