Romania’s digitalization rate reached 27 percent, up 6 percent in 2021
The Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR) presented the data of the second monitoring of the degree of digitalization of IT systems related to life events included in Public Policy of e-government, strategic document approved in June 2021 by the Government of Romania. The degree of digitalization of the Romanian state increased by 6 percentage points compared to the starting point of the monitoring, in 2020.
This monitoring exercise is carried out annually, and the data centralized by ADR represents a status report of the digitization of the central public administration in Romania. The data contained in this radiograph were collected between August and December 2022 and are valid for the year 2021.
The responsible institutions that, through their efforts, registered progress in 2021 are: the National Trade Registry Office, the National Employment Agency, the Romanian Labor Inspectorate, the National Library of Romania, the National Fiscal Administration Agency, the National Cadastre Agency and Real Estate Advertising, National Health Insurance House, Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The ADR analysis represents the reporting and evaluation of the progress of each individual institution, according to the tasks established by the Public Policy.
