The Energy CEO Forum & Awards Gala designated its FINALISTS for 2023 Edition!

The Jury Board has concluded the designation process for the FINALISTS of the upcoming Energy CEO Forum & Awards Gala, 2023 Edition. The annual landmark event for the energy industry in Romania will take place in Bucharest, at JW MARRIOTT GRAND HOTEL Bucharest, ABC Ballroom, on May 10^th.

GREEN MOBILITY AWARD 

• ABB | Olimpia Parking, the largest private parking provider at Bucharest’s Henri Coanda International Airport is the first parking service in Romania that implemented ABB’s latest building automation and EV charging technology.
• Mol Romania | Among the key projects developed in Romania in 2022, within this long-term development framework is the major infrastructure project deployed on the highways Nădlac-Sibiu (A1), Pitești-București (A1) and Cernavodă-Constanța (A2).

• Rompetrol | The Kazakh-Romanian Energy Investment Fund (KREIF) and Rompetrol Downstream – the retail structural subdivision of the KMG International Group in Romania, opened  the first four integrated service centers on the A1 highway.

• E-Distributie | nvested 106 million RON in 2022 in the modernization of high voltage electricity grids and some primary substations
• Enel X Romania | photovoltaic plants with total power of over 26 MWp in 2022

• Electrica Furnizare |  invested in 2022 in turnkey projects with a total value of approximately 13 millions of euros

ENERGY FINANCING OF THE YEAR

• BCR | arranged senior credit facilities for Enery Power Holding to acquire an 81 MW renewables portfolio
• BCR and KMG International Group signed a new syndicated credit facility of USD 531.8 million, with the possibility to be increased up to USD 600 million.
• EIB and Transgaz sign agreement to develop decarbonisation strategy for Romania’s gas network
• RAIFEISSEN BANK loans to SMEs for green energy

ENERGY TRANSITION AWARD        

• Adrem | installed 100 kW photovoltaic panels on the roof of the Obor Halls in Bucharest
• Electrica Furnizare | invested in 2022 in turnkey projects with a total value of approximately 13 millions of euros.
• OMV Petrom | installed photovoltaic panels in 110 filling stations in Romania, aims to expand to 150 units by the end of 2022
