BTDConstruct & Ambient company completed the works for an intelligent natural gas distribution network in 3 municipalities in Olt County, in partnership with CEC Bank
BTDConstruct & Ambient, a 100% Romanian company, established in 2013, which operates in the field of general construction, managed to complete an intelligent natural gas distribution system in the towns of Studina, Grădinile and Brastavătu in Olt county in a record time of only 5 months. The project, which benefits from European funding through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM), coordinated by the Ministry of European Investments and Projects, was started in July this year. and completed at the beginning of December this year, although the term of execution of such a project usually falls between 18 and 24 months.
“As a general contractor, I was aware, from the beginning of this project, of the need for a very detailed and precise planning of the works, so that we could fit into the short term that we proposed. Through this approach, we were able to apply the demands and rigors acquired in the private environment to reduce the execution term to finally facilitate, as quickly as possible, the access of domestic consumers in these localities to a safe and modern natural gas network. From a resource perspective, BTDConstruct & Ambient has allocated a considerable number of professionals and machinery to keep the works at a sustained pace. But this deployment would not have been possible without the significant support provided by our banking partner, CEC Bank, which covered the financing component of our operations. That’s why we want to emphasize the important contribution of this partnership to the overall success of our projects. We are happy with this remarkable result, all the more since this public natural gas distribution service also represents a modernization of the local infrastructure, which will further attract a better development of the area. We are animated by the idea of contributing to the development of the energy network in our country, that is why we propose to apply the practice of efficient and fast execution in all the projects we contract”, said Răzvan Pârvulescu, Head of Business Development BTDConstruct & Ambient.
“CEC stands with Romanian companies and grants funding to projects that serve the real needs of local communities. For us it is very important to support impact projects, at local and national level, sustainable projects, which by their nature have a positive impact on the environment. CEC Bank has taken steps to implement ESG principles. We are talking about a business model in which we, for ourselves, for our business, for our future, are responsible. CEC Bank supports the development of domestic capital in Romania and we believe that it must be the engine of the economy in terms of added value and impact on the labor market. We support the real economy and Romanian companies, which we have already proven by numbers. We want to be the home bank of Romanian entrepreneurs,” said Laura Mihai, director of the Large Clients Department at CEC Bank.
Within the mentioned project, 130 km of distribution network and 3700 connections were made. Also, a 10,000 mc/h capacity measurement and regulation station was built and connected to the Natural Gas Transport System. The total value of the works amounts to over 65 million lei.
