Accor announces its first Handwritten hotel in Bucharest
Hospitality group Accor joined hands with Tecadra Hotels for the complete conversion and extension of the existing Tecadra Hotel in Bucharest. The existing 4-stars property is undergoing a full makeover of the façade, internal partitioning, and design. The building will feature 50 rooms and suites. An additional wing of will be added to the property, bringing 50 new apartments units.
The total capacity of the hotel will be 100 rooms. In line with Accor’s commitment to decarbonize all its operations and achieve net zero by 2050, the property will be a green building, powered by solar panels and heating pumps, thus reducing carbon emissions and operating costs.
Positioned on Iancu Nicolae 67 Street, the hotel is right at the heart of one of Bucharest’s most exclusive residential neighbourhoods, surrounded by renowned international schools, fitness and wellness centres, and upscale shopping galleries.
