Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Romania elected management team for 2024
The team responsible for coordinating the departments of the energy youth program in 2024 consists of the following members: Marketing and Communication Manager – Olivian Savin, Programs and Events Manager – Teodora Mîndra, Community Manager – Vlad Tufan, Regulations and Public Affairs Manager – Raluca Gabor. Together with Rareș Hurghiș, elected Executive Director at the end of 2023, this team will ensure the coordination of FEL Romania.
The new team, chosen by members’ vote, aims to advance and expand FEL Romania projects, adapt global energy trends into local policy recommendations and create a framework where people can find and discover everything they want to know about energy.
The meeting was opened by Adrian Vintilă, the president of FEL Romania in 2023: “Now, while we are passing the baton to a new management team, I want to express my full gratitude to the community and to those who have been with us in this journey. Without the support, dedication and passion of the members, our achievements would not have been possible. I close with a wish of success and fulfillment for the future of the organization, with the hope that we will always remain connected through our passion and dedication to energy.”

Olivian Savin is a PhD engineer in energy, graduated as head of promotion of the Faculty of Energy at UPB with specialization in hydropower. He followed an international research master at Grenoble INP in France, then worked at the largest energy producer in Europe, Electricité de France, where he completed an industrial PhD thesis, completing his higher studies in 3 different languages. He continued his activation in the private sector and due to his involvement and impact in the field, he was included in the year 2023 in the Forbes 30 under 30 Romania list.
The manager of the Marketing and Communication department in the previous year and an active member of FEL Romania since the beginning of 2022, he has been involved in most of the FEL projects since joining the community, being part of the teams for writing articles and guides, organizing conferences and sessions training, taking care of the image of the organization and keeping in touch with partners.
Teodora Mîndra is part of the management of the Department of Research, Development and software implementation in industrial automation projects, both commercial, but also with Innovation Norway, EraNet, Eureka, etc. funds intended for smart microgrids, holding positions of project manager or technical manager. Teodora is a PhD student at the Faculty of Automation and Computers, finishing her bachelor’s and master’s studies at the Faculty of Energy.
Being a FEL member since 2019, Teodora has been involved in publishing articles for the Energy 101 project, for the Energetic Messenger and EMERG, while also sharing her knowledge of energy system automation. Throughout his career, he took part in the event organization team of the FEL brand.
Vlad Tufan is an economics graduate of the Petru Maior University in Târgu Mureș, he has over 9 years of experience in the energy sector. During all this time he carried out activities in the Sales, Portfolio Management & Pricing and Business Development departments, for 5 years he coordinated the activity of the Commodity Portfolio Management & Pricing department in one of the largest profile companies in Romania. He currently works as a Business Developer in and coordinates the activity of a closed distribution system.
Vlad has been part of the FEL Romania team since the beginning of 2023, actively participating in training sessions and organizing events, and aims to grow the FEL community by strengthening the current team and recruiting new members.
Raluca Gabor graduated from the Faculty of Law of Nicolae Titulescu University and is a lawyer with over 10 years of experience in the energy field. Her career began during the first wave of renewable projects, quickly expanded to related topics such as the state aid scheme with green certificates, continued with the separation of supply and distribution activities, attempts to liberalize the electricity and gas markets, the ban and subsequently the liberalization of bilateral electricity contracts and the modernization of the centralized market, culminating in efforts to develop projects in the onshore and offshore oil and natural gas industry, to move towards carbon neutrality, mining, natural resources and the petrochemical industry, and mature investments in renewable energy. He currently coordinates the energy and natural resources practice of SPRL Stratulat Albulescu.
Raluca has been part of the FEL Romania team since the end of 2022, actively participating in the organization’s activities and writing articles for the Energetic Messenger.
