HelpShip expands operations with 5,300 sqm lease in CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal
CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), has leased 5,300 sqm of warehouse at CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal to HelpShip, a leading logistics solutions provider, part of euShipments.com’s group and logistics network.
This move is a response to the increasing demand for logistics services driven by the rapid growth of ecommerce in Romania, the second largest market in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), being aligned with HelpShip’s commitment to providing logistics solutions to its growing portfolio of clients from the ecommerce sector.
“Oradea’s prime location near the Hungarian border makes it a key gateway for businesses aiming to set up in both Romania and Hungary. The CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal, connected to the Airport Oradea, continues to be a preferred choice for companies looking to serve western Romania and neighboring markets. We’re excited to welcome HelpShip, an ambitious entrepreneurial company, to our growing community”, said Aurel Cîrstea, Business Development Manager, CTP Romania.
“Following a successful year, HelpShip is thrilled to share our continued growth in Romania. We’re excited to announce the expansion of our operations, securing a modern 5,300 square meters warehouse in CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal. With Romania’s rising prominence in the ecommerce sector, we remain dedicated to supporting the growth of online merchants in the region. Currently, we process over 200,000 orders per month, and we aim to surpass the milestone of 300,000 orders per month by the end of the year”, said Stefan Popa, CEO of HelpShip.
CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal is built on 14.4 hectares of land and includes three buildings with a total leasable area of over 60,000 sqm and numerous specific infrastructure elements, such as the aircraft parking apron or the taxiway connecting the aircraft parking apron to the airport runway.
Located in the western part of Romania, at only 10 km from Borş, the largest border point on the western border, CTPark Oradea Cargo Terminal benefits of direct connection with Oradea Airport and Eurobusiness II industrial center, but also with large neighboring cities such as Timisoara, Arad, Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Debrecen, and Budapest.
Romania is CTP’s second largest market, representing over 2.6 million sqm of its portfolio across Class A industrial and logistics space in more than 15 Romanian cities, including Arad, Brasov, Bucharest, Caransebes, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Deva, Oradea, Pitesti, Sibiu, Targu Mures, Timisoara, Turda, Ineu and Salonta.
