Hidroelectrica aims to distribute the profit of 6.3 billion RON from 2023 to the shareholders
Hidroelectrica proposes to the shareholders the distribution of 100 percent of the net profit achieved during 2023, according to the legal provisions and the company’s policy. The net profit recorded in the previous year was 6.3 billion RON, and the financial performance was doubled by achieving one of the most successful listings in the world in 2023.

The fact that we manage to fully distribute the profit achieved in 2023, in the conditions in which we continue our projects without difficulties investments and modernization and maintenance programs is a clear proof of the financial stability of Hidroelectrica, as well as extremely good prospects for the future. We have set out to increase the value of the company, as well as transparency and honesty in the relationship with investors. Accelerating investments in modernizations and new projects remain our zero priority.”
The approval of the distribution of the net profit of the financial year 2023 will be subject to the approval of the AGM, in the meeting of April 29, 2024, in accordance with the legal provisions, including Government Ordinance no. 64/2001, with subsequent amendments and additions. The total value of the proposed gross dividend is 6,292,900,952 RON, and the value of the gross dividend per share is 13.99 RON.
Hidroelectrica is the largest producer of green energy in Romania and provides essential technological services for the National Energy System. The company, essential for a strategic sector with national security implications, operates 187 plants with a hydropower capacity of 6.3 GW and – in addition, owns a wind farm in Crucea with an installed capacity of 108 MW. The company also holds a 13.09% share of the supply market.
