Romanian technology and engineering company Simtel Team opens subsidiary in Germany
The management of Simtel Team announces the opening of a new subsidiary in Essen, Germany. This initiative marks a strategic step in the Group’s international expansion, which began with the opening of a subsidiary in the Republic of Moldova in 2021.
The opening of the subsidiary in Germany represents a natural step aligned with the Company’s commitment to being closer to its clients and ensuring swift interventions to enhance the efficiency of photovoltaic power plants. Since 2012, the company has closely collaborated with one of Europe’s largest inverter manufacturers, providing interventions in photovoltaic parks across Romania and Europe.
Announced in 2024 as the Group’s next strategic step, the Essen subsidiary is strategically positioned to enable the Company to promptly meet the needs of clients in Germany and neighboring countries – Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Austria, and Switzerland. This expansion contributes to reducing equipment downtime and improving performance.
The new subsidiary strengthens the Company’s position in the photovoltaic energy sector and opens new opportunities for collaborations and strategic partnerships, supporting Europe’s energy transition through innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
In its initial phase, the German subsidiary will offer preventive and corrective maintenance services for photovoltaic and energy storage systems. In the medium term, the Company plans to expand the subsidiary’s activity by introducing other business lines from its portfolio, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects for photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions, as well as the commercialization of autonomous robots produced by Agora Robotics, a Group company dedicated to this activity.
The Group’s expansion plans also target other European markets, with the management actively exploring opportunities to open another subsidiary later this year.
