Deloitte Romania assisted IMO Property Investments Bucharest, part of Eurobank Group, in the sale of 100% of its shares to APS Group
Deloitte Romania assisted IMO Property Investments Bucharest, the company part of Eurobank Group active in the strategic oversight and divestment of real estate assets, in the sale of 100% of its shares to APS Group, an alternative asset management investor across the Central-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe regions. The transaction was signed in November 2024 and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025, after obtaining regulatory approvals.
The Deloitte Romania multidisciplinary team of financial and tax experts provided full sell-side advisory throughout the entire process, through services that included designing the strategy together with the client, drafting the specific documents, negotiating with the involved parties and support in the final negotiations, as well as specific tax advisory services. The project team was made of Radu Dumitrescu, Partner-in-charge, Vlad Balan, Director, Ionut Vasilescu, Deputy Director, and Iulia Georgescu, Senior Associate, from the Advisory practice, and Daniel Grigore, Director, and Gabriel Patru, Manager, from the Tax practice.

IMO Property Investments Bucharest was established in 2007 and had net assets of almost RON 134 million for the year ended 31 December 2023.
APS Group, established in 2004, now has a leading position in Central and South-Eastern Europe markets and specializes in alternative asset management, real estate investment and debt recovery. Currently, the company manages over 100 non-performing loans portfolios with a total nominal value of more than EUR 11 billion. The group is present in Romania since 2007 and is active in other nine countries.
