MedLife expands its portfolio of robotic-assisted surgeries by introducing the Rosa system
MedLife, the largest private healthcare network in Romania, announces the introduction of the Rosa robot at MedLife Humanitas Hospital in Cluj, a state-of-the-art device specialized in orthopedics.
With this new addition, MedLife Humanitas Cluj becomes the medical center with the widest spectrum of pathologies that can be treated robotically in Romania. In addition to the Rosa robot, the center also has two other cutting-edge devices: the da Vinci system, used in general surgery, urology and gynecology, and the BrainLab platform, dedicated to neurosurgery.
Rosa is an advanced robotic system designed to revolutionize the way orthopedic surgeries are performed. This robot is designed to assist surgeons in complex interventions on joints and bones, offering superior precision that exceeds the limits of traditional surgical techniques. The use of the Rosa robot ensures detailed preoperative planning and precise execution of interventions, reducing associated risks, minimizing trauma to healthy tissues and ensuring a faster and more comfortable recovery for patients. This technology is essential in interventions such as joint replacements and other advanced orthopedic procedures, being an important step towards personalizing treatment for each patient.
“Investments in cutting-edge fields, such as robotic surgery, are part of our commitment to bringing innovative and personalized medical solutions to patients. The Rosa robot, through its advanced technology, represents a new standard of excellence in orthopedics, strengthening our position as a leader in private medicine in Romania. The fact that we can intervene robotically in such a wide spectrum of surgical specialties gives us the opportunity to improve the quality of life of our patients, reducing recovery time and the risks associated with classic interventions,” said Mihai Marcu, President and CEO of MedLife Grup.
