OTP Bank Romania donates 500,000 RON to health system in fight against COVID-19

OTP Bank Romania donates 500,000 RON to hospitals and local communities, in the fight against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donated amount will ensure the purchase of the necessary equipment and materials for healthcare professionals during this period.

“We all go through difficult times right now. We need to be united and show understanding, empathy and, last but not least, believe in the common effort. Together, through collaboration and solidarity, we can help in the fight against coronavirus. We believe very much in the power of communities and we get involved, whenever we have the opportunity, in their well-being.

We hope that more and more colleagues, partners and friends will understand the imperative need for material and financial resources within hospitals, which, at the moment, are the most important institutions in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have a duty to support the society we belong to, to help communities recover and to cope with an unprecedented situation.
