MedLife Group posts four percent profit growth in first half of 2020

MedLife Group, leading private medical services provider in Romania, reported a profit of 10.9 million RON for the first half of this year, up 4.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

The group’s business remained roughly steady at 469.5 million RON.

In January-June 2020, the group’s operating revenues were 471.2 million RON, down from 472.1 million RON in the same period last year, while the operating profit increased by 9.8 percent to 30.8 million RON.

The highest revenues were generated by the network of clinics, with sales of 142 million RON resulting in a share of 30.3 percent of total group sales. The hospitals generated revenues of 104.5 million RON, and the dental clinics registered revenues of 25.4 million RON (-11.6 percent year-on-year).
