Georgiana Andrei, Regina Maria: “Companies are looking at what they can do to be closer to their employees”
“For us this period has been very much about overcommunication. Because we didn’t have enough information about the virus we are fighting against. Information was changing and for us it was about keeping the medical teams up to date with the latest information, keeping the sales teams informed and making sure that our corporate clients have the latest information,” Georgiana Andrei, Corporate Sales Director, Regina Maria said during the web conference Workplace of the future powered by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“Mental health is one of the hot topics these days. Looking at our corporate clients, one in two conversations is about this. We were talking about wellbeing within the company, this trend was really accelerated in this period. Employees are showing great interest in taking care of their mental wellbeing,” she explained. “For us the pandemic really made the digitalization go very fast. We launched our virtual clinic in 10 days together with the Microsoft team, which would have never happened under normal circumstances. We are very happy because the adoption from the doctors was quite high. In less than two months we managed to bring in the virtual clinic around 500 doctors, which is an impressive number. I think this is the most important good thing brought by the pandemic. We really believe that this virtual clinic brings real added value for the people on the short and long term.
Companies are looking at what they can do to be closer to their employees. When we think of wellbeing, there are 5 pillars that we are looking at: health, mental wellbeing, nutrition, kinetics, sleeping. We believe that these pillars are the most relevant today.”
