SmartWings launches Bucharest-Prague route

Low cost airline SmartWings is planning to launch a new route between Bucharest Henri Coanda Airport in Otopeni and Prague Ruzyne Airport (PRG) that will be available from 1 November 2010. The route offers free refreshment, a free baggage allowance of up five kilogrammes and up to 20 kg of checked baggage at a return ticket cost of 120 Euro. On the Bucharest-Prague route the only operater is currently the carrier Czech Airlines. However representatives from Henri Coanda International Airport said that they have received no official notification from SmartWings so far. The Czech airline company operates flights to more than 30 destinations. SmartWings is owned by Czech-based firm Travel Service.
