Over the last year, Romania has been accelerating efforts to be seen tackling corruption at high level and reforming the judiciary, under the vigilant eye of the EU.
Dutch officials are watching Romania’s efforts in judicial reform following last year’s appointment of new members for the Supreme Council of Magistracy (CSM) - an independent council overseeing the work of judges and prosecutors.
