Romanian aeronautics industry prepares for lift-off
At Berlin’s main airport, an Airbus 320 – belonging to Air Berlin – is getting ready for takeoff. It gets the green light and starts taxiing down the runway. Minutes later, the plane is airborne. This is the first Airbus put together using components made in Romania, after Premium Aerotec, a division of the French-German group EADS, opened a new production facility in Ghimbav, Brasov County.
