Clarity lack holds health insurance back

Private health insurance has not taken off in Romania. The sector is worth less than 0.5 per cent of the country’s total insurance market, a small figure of only ten million Euro.
One major drawback, according to experts quizzed by The Diplomat, is the Government’s failure to define a minimum package of medical services covered by the state.
