PV market: here comes the sun
Authorities, legal and financial experts analysed the new legislative framework governing the photovoltaic market, while several market players put forward solutions for the Romanian PV industry and presented new technologies in the field to increase the efficiency of PV farms, during the Romanian Photovoltaic Investment Forum 2012, organized by The Diplomat - Bucharest in partnership with Transelectrica November 2012 - From the Print Edition
Optimism and growing enthusiasm surrounding the photovoltaic (PV) market in Romania are not just an exercise in positive thinking.
The boom in this sector stems from law no. 134/2012 which provides investors in the PV sector with the guarantee that the current support scheme, which offers six Green Certificates (GC) for one MWh, won't change until after January 1, 2014. This gives producers a strong legal framework encouraging investments on the market.
