Quadra: exports slow, sales keep up in Romania

At the end of last year furniture producer and retailer Quadra Invest saw a drop in export sales, but an increase in Romanian consumption for its brand European Heritage.
“Overall sales in the last quarter of 2008 declined by 17.5 per cent, but exports saw a 25 per cent drop and domestic sales were up 20 per cent,” says Ralph Polko, business development manager at Quadra Invest.However the company will close its European Heritage store in European Retail Park in Sibiu due to declining sale...
