French telecom back office boost for Romania

Communications company Orange will employ up to 300 new staff in Bucharest to provide IT services to support parent company France Telecom’s operations in 30 countries. The staff drive will happen up until the end of this year, when the total number of those employed in Orange Romania will increase to 3,000. Orange clocked up a total of 10.12 million customers in Romania in March 2009 and a turnover of 1.31 billion Euro for its local operations in 2008.
