Tech companies awarded at ANIS annual gala

On January 26, ANIS (Association of software companies in Romania) hosted the third edition of its annual Gala Awards event, to celebrate the successful projects of the tech industry and the association in the previous year.

Special guests of the ANIS Gala Awards included Tamar Samash, Ambassador of the State of Israel in Romania, Joshua Burke, commercial attache & deputy senior commercial officer at US Embassy Bucharest and Victor Negrescu, member of the European Parliament.

The Jury, which included members of the local tech community, evaluated 60 applications and nominated winners for 9 categories, as follows:

Education Program of the Year: Scoala Informala de IT
CSR Program of the Year: IXIA Romania
Startup of the Year: SiloMeter
R&D Project of the Year: Mira Technologies Group / DESMTEH
Outsourcing Project of the Year: Endava / Agile Transformation for Worldpay
Software Product of the Year: UiPath / RPA Computing Platform
Client of the Year: Flanco / Zitec
Member of the Year: Mihai Matei / Essensys Software
Company of the Year: Qualitance
