Office market gets smart
Still reeling from Romania’s unsustainable property boom, Bucharest’s office market is the first real estate sector to be heading back to earth, according to developers and experts in the field. Analysis by Corina Ilie June 2010 - From the Print Edition
Bucharest’s office market is showing the first timid signs of recovery, after a year when the quantity of empty space witnessed a record rise.
2010 began with some significant rental deals on the market, for spaces around 10,000 sqm and new developers announced plans to start building office projects in the capital.
Other developers who could not deliver their projects on schedule last year managed to complete them in the first part of 2010.
