Spanish telecom giant offers corporate services

Spanish telecom giant Telefonica has announced it will open a branch in Romania as part of a plan to attack 15 new European territories. “This is part of a strategy to expand presence and services to corporate customers,” according to Matthew Key, CEO of Telefonica Europe. This will be designed to serve Deutsche Post DHL and its existing multinational customers. In eastern Europe the brand has a major presence in only the Czech and Slovak Republics. In eastern Europe the firm is expanding this service to Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
