These include the motorways Comarnic-Brasov, Sibiu Pitesti, and Targu-Mures-Iasi-Ungheni, as well as upgrading Bucharest’s ring-road to the quality of a motorway.

The country is looking for a private energy partner to held build the AGRI Interconnector which aims to bring liquefied natural gas from Azerbaijan to Romania through Georgia. This will need a one billion Euro re-gasification plant near Constanta.
Romanian officials also plan environmental and regional development projects, such as the Siret-Baragan canal, Vrancea county, a series of road bridges and housing complexes.
The Government is also looking for partners to build new regional emergency hospitals in Timisoara, Cluj Napoca, Targu Mures, Iasi, Craiova and Bucharest, as well as one new prison.
