By the end of 2012, the first two parts of the Floreasca City Centre (FCC) district development will be completed by the Vienna based developers Raiffeisen evolution. In a few months the SkyTower and the smaller FCC Office buildings, acquired last year by Raiffeisen Property Holding International (RPHI), will be ready to be handed over to the new owner. The SkyTower just grows and grows“, commented Mark Neurauter, managing director and CEO of Raiffeisen evolution. The 100-meter mark tower started in may 2011 and since then, the tallest building in Bucharest has been growing by about one floor per week. The 100 meter mark was reached just a few days ago. The SkyTower will reach a total height of 137 m. The future tenants, Raiffeisen Bank Romania, will occupy seven floors of the tower and the entire FCC Office. All the remaining floors in the office tower will be leased by RPHI. "As a future landmark of the Rumanian capital the interest in the SkyTower is huge“, quoted Gabriele Deffner, Head of Marketing and Asset Management for RPHI. “Compared to the pace of construction, there is also a great deal of interest in the rental space still available,” the manager added. By the time of completion, Sky Tower will have 137 meter- height, with unit spaces from 290 sqm to 518 parking spaces. The shopping center complex Promenada, within Floreasca City Centre (FCC) has a rentable space of 35,000 sqm, with a lettable area spare of 50 percent within the 4 floors and a parking garage area of 1,300 spaces.
