A greenfield investment worth over 1.5 million Euro, belonging to German company Stanzwerk Wetter for producing folding mechanisms and systems for furniture, was inaugurated in late May in Ineu, Arad county, according to Agerpres. Encompassing an area of 2,700 sqm, the production hall will count 50 employees. However, the German company intends to create another 100 jobs in Ineu by 2018, by opening another two production halls. Present at the inaugural ceremony, the owner of Stanzwerk Wetter, Christoph Sichelschmidt, expressed his gratitude towards the Ineu City Hall who showed great concern and gave full support to help things move at the right pace. "We came here right after the local elections in 2012 and, after talking for about five minutes with the new mayor, Calin Abrudan, we had a deal," said Sichelschmidt. "Basically, everything ran very quickly, as we wished. After 22 months since we first arrived in Ineu, the new facility was commissioned. The hall has ′sandwich′ walls, built by the Arad company Mr.FAB," he added. Stanzwerk Wetter – internationally known under the brand name "stawett" – is active in the design and production of innovative functional fittings for recliners, folding beds, furniture for sleep and relaxation.
