Gral Medical to open two clinics

Private medical network Gral Medical opened two clinics this year in Bucharest and Ploiesti, with a total investment of over 1.5 million Euro, and plans to launch two more units by the end of 2015, according to Ziarul Financiar. "We will continue the development of the company, both horizontally and vertically, and by the end of 2015 we want to open two more centres in cities with a population over 300,000 inhabitants," said Robert Chitan, the promotion and development director of Gral Medical, according to a press release quoted by ZF. "We are in the process of analysing opportunities and establishing strategic objectives for each region," he added.
The clinic opened in Bucharest is located on Stefan cel Mare street, while medical offices cover most medical specialties, including allergy, dermatology, endocrinology, cardiology, rheumatology, ENT, family medicine, urology and gynaecology. The other unit, opened in the centre of Ploiesti, covers an area of 1,800 sqm and includes over 30 medical offices where more than 150 doctors work, a modern medical imaging department and reserves specially designed for day hospitalization. The two clinics were financed by an investment project with an annual budget of 5.5 million Euro. Gral Medical Group recorded last year 101.2 million RON (22.9 million Euro) revenues, up 23 per cent compared to 2013. The highest increases were registered in Bucharest OncoFort Hospital (up 35 per cent), Bucharest Gral Radiology Centre (up 30 per cent) and provincial centres (an increase of almost 41 per cent).
